Where previously vegan dishes were marked on the menu, a marking is now placed behind dishes with animal products. &#8220;With a daring new menu, we are breaking into the future with a bang,&#8221; says director Hugo Kruijssen about the company&#8217;s new direction.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Animal products normally predominate in the catering industry, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/sugopizza\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">SUGO<\/a> on the other hand, is changing course. The group responds to the fast-growing demand for healthy and plant-based food. On the menu, the conscious consumer will find, for example, the completely plant-based pizza with lamb kebab, red onion and a dressing of garlic and piment\u00f3n. &#8220;If we continue to do things as we always do, things will never change. We want to be a frontrunner in this and introduce our guests to the high-quality and tasty alternatives to animal products that are currently available on the market. We want to introduce a large audience to plant-based products in an accessible way and tasty products.\u201d In addition, the cappuccino will also be served with plant-based milk as the standard. However, cow&#8217;s milk will not be banned completely. Those who prefer not to have plant-based milk will pay a small additional charge for regular milk.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>New addition to the menu for SUGO Pizza<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In addition to the mostly plant-based dishes, the menu will also take a new direction with the indication of the ingredients. Dishes with, for example, egg, milk or meat, are indicated with a logo of the product in question. <em>\u201c<\/em>At SUGO Pizza we are known for surprising ingredients and exciting flavours. But we also attach great importance to sustainable products. As far as we are concerned, a largely plant-based and varied diet is the future. That does not mean that animal products will completely disappear. But as far as we are concerned, plant-based will be the base<em>\u201d<\/em> says Kruijssen. In addition, the Roman pizza is characterized by the special high-protein flour, which makes it easily digestible.
