“Park Supermarket” is an idea to create landscape supermarkets which are situated in the ‘city parks’ of the Netherlands. The polder was once intended to feed the Dutch consumer, but is becoming outdated and no longer meet the needs of the 170 nationalities in the Netherlands. The idea and concept is designed by the Van Bergen Kolpa Architect firm and Alterra Wageningen. The goal of the “Park Supermarket” is to provide and sell food, which can be found in the contemporary supermarket.
