Asian BBQutie is open until the end of December in the bridge keeper’s house on the \u2018Lage Erf Brug\u2019 in the Delfshaven, Rotterdam. The location is very small, so they only offer one table, perfect for a group of up to 10 people, if you come with less you slide in with others. This is Asian BBQ’s 9th location in 14 years, they offer a small menu and Moo Kata. At the bridge keeper’s house you can enjoy the view of the Schie, quite spectacular when the bridge opens!<\/p>\n

Enjoying Moo Kata at Asian BBQutie<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Do you know what Moo Kata is? You can read more about this Thai BBQ here<\/a>! Basically, it is a table BBQ and a mix of Korean BBQ and the Chinese Hotpot. This includes a Thai curry, Som tam, a delicious Burmese Tealeaf salad and Mango sticky rice, among others. They also have a small menu that is slightly smaller than usual because the kitchen is very small. The owners Mischa & Miranda brought bbqs from Thailand and use them during their Moo Kata. The location is very small but they managed to make a mini edition of their colourful restaurant here in Delfshaven. You’ll find Asian BBQutie at the bridge keeper’s house on Havenstraat 6, from Wednesday to Sunday. They have two shifts, from half past 4 to 6pm and from half past 7 to 10pm.<\/p>\n

About Asian BBQ<\/strong><\/h3>\n

We wrote about Asian BBQ<\/a> back in 2010 and in 2013 about their location on Rotterdam’s Dakpark<\/a>. Since then, they have had a pop-up restaurant for a few months every year, the last 3 were on the Oostkousdijk. The owners Mischa & Miranda believe there is more to life than just working. Therefore they like to travel for a few months every year and since 1996 that has been to Thailand. Since 2008, they have now had 8 restaurants, 2 of which were in Hasselt Belgium and the rest in Rotterdam. They transform all their locations into the famous ABBQ Atmosphere. Since they had to be open all year round on Oostkousdijk, they now ended up in the bridge keeper’s house. They also do catering and ‘on tour’ where they cook at fellow catering businesses. For example, October 2nd<\/sup>, they are guests at Caf\u00e9 Pardoen in the Oude Haven Rotterdam. Here they serve a large assortment of special beers, which is delicious with the Moo Kata.
