We have been sharing inspiration on our website since 2007, inspiration that we find in the hospitality industry or by online spotting of what our colleague hospitality entrepreneurs all over the world are doing. If you search our website for ‘Christmas’, you will get pages full with examples like glitter gravy<\/a>, the Christmas afternoon in Hengelo<\/a> to storytelling by the Rocco Forte hotel chain <\/a>under the name of #RFWinterTale.<\/p>\n

Our last real Christmas publication was \u2018Christmas Gestures<\/a>\u2019 back in 2013, containing examples of ‘golden cutlery’ or ‘golden Japanese sticks’, ‘golden fortune cookies’ but also pizza slices and pizza boxes in the Christmas tree. For our 2021 publication we went to find inspiration for decorating a Christmas tree for in restaurants, fast food chains, bars or hotels at FAAS Est<\/a> in Leiden. A great shop that sells all kinds of food ornaments. Check out their photos on the front page of this years publication. In ‘Christmas inspiration 2021’ we particularly mention inspiration to celebrate Christmas outdoor, a safe way to have fun with your guests this Holiday Season.<\/p>\n

Christmas inspiration 2021 | Be inspired<\/strong><\/h3>\n

In \u2018Christmas inspiration 2021<\/a>\u2019 you’ll find examples from abroad, such as the Claridge’s Christmas trees, whose Christmas tree stylized by a Dior designer is unveiled in the lobby on November 24 this year. But also from right here in The Netherlands; we love the fact that the Christmas tree<\/a> of the Pulitzer Hotel <\/a>in Amsterdam is decorated by Claes Iversen this year. A \u2018tree lighting party\u2019 is another great option, we have been seeing these parties abroad for years and even here in the Netherlands at, for example, ‘Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin’<\/a>.<\/p>\n

This year, examples from fast food giants, like McDonald’s ‘Mariah Menu’ and KFC’s ‘Bucket Hugger’, both campaigns to entice Americans to start using their apps. We actually loved their 2016 promotion even more, the Whopper Exchange<\/a>, where you could exchange unwanted Christmas presents for a whopper. Inspiration from the bar scene; examples of Christmas baubles or ornaments filled with cocktails, golden hot dogs and the cocktail bar Miracle that is coming to Amsterdam, after opening popups all over the world. We mentioned in the \u2018trends we spotted in week 46\u2019 that the Langham hotel in London is opening a ‘Curling Club’ in their garden this Holiday Season. Floor17<\/a> in Amsterdam did this on their roof top in 2016. Of course Pinterest remains a great source for inspiration for beautiful decorations, special dishes for the Christmas season and much more.
