Hertog Jan presents the fifth edition of the specialty beer Grand Prestige Vatgerijpt on September 20. Every year, the crown jewel of the brewer from the south of the Netherlands (Limburg) matures in other, special wooden barrels, which means that the taste of the Hertog Jan Grand Prestige Vatgerijpt is always unique and is only brewed in limited quantities.<\/p>\n

They already reveald that Hertog Jan has travelled to a sunny destination for the 2021 edition and that due to the popularity they are now coming up with special preview taste editions.<\/em><\/p>\n

Hertog Jan Grand Prestige Vatgerijpt 2021 <\/strong><\/h3>\n

The popularity of Hertog Jan Grand Prestige Vatgerijpt<\/a> (barrel aged) beer is increasing every year. Last year the limited edition sold out within 30 minutes. To allow enthusiasts to enjoy Grand Prestige Vatgerijpt for longer, the brewery is introducing special preview taste editions for the first time this anniversary year. Like Vatgerijpt, these are available in a limited edition (1500 pieces).<\/p>\n

These four preview editions contain hints to this year’s final version, the classic Grand Prestige. This way, beer lovers can use their senses to guess which barrels are central and already enjoy the unique flavors of this year’s edition. The boxes also contain two tickets for the VIP launch in the brewery in Arcen, where you can taste the barrel-aged beers first, together with other enthusiasts. In addition to a tour through the brewery, you then have the guarantee to be the first to buy Hertog Jan Grand Prestige Vatgerijpt 2021. You can register for the draw for the preview taste editions at their website<\/a> until 11 August.
