The largest Christmas bauble in the world will rise again this year in Groningen. On Sunday December 6th, starting at 5:00 PM, no less than 6,000 LED lights will be lit at DOT Groningen. The initiators \u00a0worked for weeks to get the lights and a completely new “Christmas bauble hook” ready on time and to attach them to their dome. The dome, with a diameter of 26 meters and a height of 19 meters, is the largest Christmas bauble in the world.<\/p>\n

In addition to good food and drinks, DOT is a multifunctional company, where hospitality and variety in the programming for young and old are central. And the initiators also came up with a Drive-Thru-experience for this year and together with three other authentic restaurants they created the #ChristmasBaubleBox: The culinary December gift for companies and for families at home.<\/em><\/p>\n

Drive-Thru experience | pick-up point of the #ChristmasBaubleBox in the largest Christmas bauble in the world<\/strong><\/h3>\n

New this year is the Drive-Thru experience. DOT<\/a>, together with three other authentic restaurants in Groningen, came up with the #ChristmasBaubleBox: The culinary December gift for companies and for families at home. You arrive at DOT and under the huge Christmas ball you\u2019ll enter a Christmas wonderland with Christmas trees and if you open the windows of your car for a bit, you can enjoy the Christmas songs. You will be enthusiastically welcomed by Santa Claus and the experience begins\u2026 you have arrived at the pick-up point of the #ChristmasBaubleBox. The box, a joint initiative of restaurants Paviljoen Sterrebos<\/a>, Huis de Beurs<\/a>, NOK<\/a> and DOT, consists of a three-course menu and you will also find all kinds of nice little surprises, such as a Christmas present and a December Spotify playlist.<\/p>\n

The restaurants donate \u20ac 5.00 to the Quiet Community Groningen Foundation for every #ChristmasBaubleBox sold. Quiet<\/a> is committed to people in the Netherlands who find themselves in poverty.<\/p>\n
