A beach and terrace inspired by the French Riviera where guests enjoy a cold glass of ros\u00e9 or a fresh cocktail and French dishes and snacks in a summery atmosphere. Until September 13<sup>th<\/sup>, the courtyard will be transformed into a real sandy beach with various seating areas &#8211; a meter and a half away from each other, of course -, a bar and with a regular DJ providing summery background music. The opening of The Grand Beach coincides with <a href=\"https:\/\/press.accor.com\/sofitel-invites-guests-to-live-the-french-way-this-june-by-celebrating-la-fete-de-la-musique\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">La F\u00eate de la Musique<\/a>, during which all Sofitel Hotels around the world celebrate summer in French style.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3><strong>The Grand Beach | Eat fresh lobster or prime rib with your feet in the sand<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Now that many Dutch people will not leave the country this summer, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/sofitellegendthegrandamsterdam\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam<\/a> brings the holiday feeling to the city. A sandy beach has been created in the large courtyard of the historic building and is decorated as if it were a luxury beach club in St. Tropez. The menu includes Southern French dishes such as fresh lobster or prime rib with B\u00e9arnaise sauce and French fries and delicacies such as oysters, sardines and caviar. The ros\u00e9 from Provence, champagne and cocktails prepared with French liqueurs are delicious as an aperitif, or for a sultry summer afternoon on the terrace. Take a seat on a lounge sofa, an intimate table for two or at one of the high drinks tables and experience the ultimate holiday feeling in the heart of Amsterdam.
