The 21-storey hotel with 288 rooms and suites inspires its guests to come up with new ideas by integrating sustainability into its design in an innovative way. At the QO, sustainability, luxury and architecture are inextricably intertwined. Interwoven in such a way that it is impossible to distinguish whether a decision was made for a sustainable or aesthetic reason. The QO combines luxury with the positive energy that makes conscious, sustainable choices. Time after time. Mulderblauw\u2019s<\/a> specialism in hotel design and the expertise in sustainable architecture from Paul de Ruiter Architects<\/a> created QO\u2019s \u2018living building\u2019. As a living organism, the innovative facade responds to its environment. It regulates the temperature based on the weather outside, the guests in the room and their personal preferences. Together with the high-tech greenhouse on the roof, the QO is partly self-sufficient. Nevertheless, these are just a few examples of the sustainable choices made during the construction of the QO. From the innovative gray water system to the abundance of natural daylight that enters the building and the carpet made from old fishing nets; every aspect is designed to significantly reduce the impact on the environment and at the same time create a vibrant environment full of energy.
