We pick the most interesting ones to write about, the smaller trends we use in our weekly column \u2018Trends we spotted this week\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>This week, among other links to an article about cheese tea, it\u2019s getting more and more popular, but we haven\u2019t spotted it yet in the Netherlands! In New York, the long anticipated Mercado Little Spain has opened in the shopping area Hudson Yards. Great images of this food hall by Jos\u00e9 Andr\u00e9s in an article at Eater.com.<\/p>\n<p>We also spotted the Taiwanese Boba Tea shop \u2018Happy Lemon\u2019 that uses robots to mix Boba Tea and in Switzerland they\u2019re seriously testing the effect of music on cheese! Really!<\/p>\n<p>In London PizzaExpress ZA opened at Fenchurch Street, we love their packaging for the new pizza slices. And have you ever heard of \u2018Blue Java Bananas\u2019? Enjoy reading!<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/thrillistfoodanddrink\/videos\/vb.664974160329976\/1169694479857939\/?type=2&amp;theater\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Cheese tea is a thing and it&#8217;s taking over the world<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<p>November 2017 we wrote the first article about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.horecatrends.com\/en\/cheese-tea-very-succesful-china-and-invading-the-v-s\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cheese Tea<\/a> at horecatrends.com and we spotted it at European trade shows for professionals in the food service and hospitality industry as well. But we didn\u2019t spot it in the Netherlands yet. So this great video by Thrillist is a reminder of the possibility of creating cheese tea! As they tell in the video, cheese tea is sold by more and more coffee shops in the USA, so when and where will it be available in Europe?<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2019\/3\/14\/18263795\/mercado-little-spain-photos-inside-hudson-yards-jose-andres-ferran-albert-adria\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Mercado Little Spain | The colossal food hall by Jos\u00e9 Andr\u00e9s at Hudson Yards<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<p>Since last Friday (March, 15) the shops and restaurants at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hudsonyardsnewyork.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Hudson Yards<\/a> in New York are open! This January we were at the Hudson Yards site and tried to get a glimpse of the Mercado Little Spain, the Spanish food hall of Jos\u00e9 Andr\u00e9s and Ferran &amp; Albert Adri\u00e0. No way of course, but we loved the architecture of the Hudson Yards buildings! Check out the restaurants and bars at this Spanish orientated food hall at the website of Eater.com. There\u2019s a vermouth-focused bar called \u2018Bar Celona\u2019, the 35,000-square-foot food hall further does host three full-service restaurants and nearly a dozen food stalls selling amongst other delicacies patata bravas and churros; and three shops selling flowers, dry goods, and souvenirs.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/elan_cafe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">It seems that guests still love \u2018pink\u2019 interiors | EL&amp;N caf\u00e9 in London<\/a><\/h3>\n<p>EL&amp;N London, formerly the Elan Caf\u00e9, has opened a new, totally pink, fifth branch last December.\u00a0 With this opening they prove that restaurant owners still think that their guests love to share \u2018pink\u2019 on their Instagram accounts! Although we thought that we\u2019re past the pink restaurant and caf\u00e9 period, EL&amp;N proves we couldn\u2019t be more wrong! Check their Instagram account in the link!<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/secretldn.com\/big-chill-espresso-martini-brunch\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Bigg Chill Bar in London serves bottomless espresso martinis pimped with oreos, marshmallows and more<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/bigchillbar.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Big Chill Bar <\/a>at King\u2019s Cross throws the best weekend brunch parties, and not only because there are free-flowing espresso martinis.
