YouTube has been a source of inspiration for spotting trends past few years. Every day, thousands of movies are uploaded with new and interesting content. We too sometimes use videos as a source of inspiration to write about. With this week again a selection of videos which Vera Rauwerda<\/u><\/a> thinks are cool to watch. \u00a0This week, among other things, a great video by Bloomberg about the history of Red Bull and their marketing. A video of \u2018The Best Ever Food Review Show\u2019 about the most impressive meat market in Asia where they sell meat from amongst other cats, dogs and rat. And a video about luxury plane meals, which we never had as travelers in the tourist class.<\/p>\n

The marketing and history of Red Bull <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Red Bull, a well-known brand to most people. Red Bull has introduced a completely new category in the consumption world: the energy drink. They are known for their experimental marketing and are in possession of various sports teams, a TV channel and even a record label. What I find very fascinating about Red Bull is that thanks to their form of marketing they have been able to make such an unhealthy drink popular! In addition, the video shows the history of Red Bull.<\/p>\n

The scariest Meat Market in Asia<\/strong><\/h3>\n

If you have a weak stomach, I suggest you skip this video. The Tomohon market in North Sulawesi is one of the most impressive meat markets in Asia. Dog, cat, rat or bat, they sell it here! I can\u2019t think about eating one of these animals, but in Asia it is quite normal to eat these animals. Although I am an animal lover, I find it interesting and horrible at the same time to see that it\u2019s so normal to eat a cat or dog. But for those living in India, they can\u2019t imagen that we love to eat beef! In the video they talk with locals and sellers about the market. They also show other (more normal) delicacies from this region in the video.<\/p>\n
