Although the International Women\u2019s Day is celebrated on Friday the 8th<\/sup> of March, two of the world\u2019s greatest chefs Anne-Sophie Pic and Clare Smyth will prepare and host a dinner in honor of it on Monday 11th<\/sup> March. The dinner will be held in restaurant \u2018La Dame de Pic London<\/a>\u2019 at the Four Seasons Hotel London. Guests will be welcomed to celebrate women working in the restaurant industry. A great example for other female chefs! Why not celebrate the International Women\u2019s Day 2020 with these kind of dinners or lunches to ask attention for women in the restaurant industry? Collaborate with other female chefs and you could even invite speakers about related subjects. Great female chefs celebrate International Women\u2019s Day<\/strong><\/h3>\n

One of the most decorated Michelin starred chefs in the world; Anne-Sophie Pic currently holds seven stars across her four restaurants and is the only female chef in France to hold three Michelin stars for her family restaurant, Maison Pic in Valence<\/a>. Clare Smyth held three Michelin stars at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay for nearly a decade and recently received two stars as a new entry for her first solo restaurant, Core by Clare Smyth in Notting Hill<\/u><\/a>. She was also recently named World\u2019s Best Female Chef by the World\u2019s 50 Best. For one evening only, the two chefs will welcome guests to a celebration of women in the restaurant industry. Reflecting on their own journeys, they will each showcase a selection of signature dishes as part of the five course dinner, interacting with guests throughout the evening.<\/p>\n

What to expect at this International Woman\u2019s Day dinner?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

On arrival, guests will be served canap\u00e9s followed by an aromatic amuse bouche of Carrots with jasmine yogurt and voatsiperifery pepper from Anne Sophie\u2019s kitchen team followed by Clare\u2019s starter of Potato and roe with dulse beurre blanc, herring and trout roe. Anne-Sophie\u2019s first course will be Turbot with smoked beetroot rose and a grapefruit, batak pepper and hibiscus emulsion, followed by a fragrant main of Wagyu Beef with roasted wasabi, hispi cabbage parcels, geranium rosat and buddha\u2019s hand consomm\u00e9. Anne-Sophie will then serve a final course followed by Clare\u2019s signature Core-teser dessert filled with chocolate, malt and hazelnut. In keeping with the celebrations, La Dame de Pic London\u2019s expert team of sommeliers, overseen by Anne-Sophie\u2019s Executive Sommelier Paz Levinson and the head sommelier of Core Gareth Ferreira, have created a unique wine pairing menu sourced from leading female wine-makers and producers.<\/p>\n
