With 2020 in sight, more and more details about the upcoming cruise ship of Virgin Voyages are available to public. The ship is currently being built and is expected to arrive in PortMiami in 2020. Recently, we received images of one of the restaurants on board, created by Dutch company concrete. Restaurant Razzle Dazzle is perhaps one of the most striking parts of the ship.<\/p>\n

Restaurant Razzle Dazzle<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Dazzle camouflage, also known as razzle dazzle or dazzle painting, was a family of ship camouflage used extensively in World War I, and to a lesser extent in World War II and afterwards. While fighting through the air, ground, and sea a problem arose; the traditional camouflage was of no help whilst fighting on the water. British artist Norman Wilkinson devised a brilliant strategy; if the ships have no conceivable way of blending in, could they avoid a dreadful fate if they instead decided to stand out?<\/p>\n

Given this groundbreaking pattern and the idea of hiding by standing out the restaurant concept of Razzle Dazzle was born. A space that doesn’t disguise what it’s doing, because there’s so much to experience you won’t want to go to the bathroom out of fear you might miss out on what’s coming next. But, who knows? There might even be a few surprises in store when you take a quick look around. Before or after your meal, you can make your way to the Red Bar for a daily changing cocktail! The restaurant will be open from breakfast to dinner, serving familiar favorites like hamburgers, toast, salads and they will serve vegetarian dishes. Restaurant Razzle Dazzle will also be home to the Drag Brunch, every trip, 2 days will drag queens entertain the crowd during brunch.<\/p>\n
