Located at the French Riviera, well almost above the Mediterranean Sea, in Saint-Rapha\u00ebl, hotel Les Roches Rouges<\/a> is heaven for those who love to sleep with the sound of the waves. A contemporary Boutique style hotel with a high dose of retro, reintroducing the shower curtain, simple blue tiles in the shower, retro shower faucets, retro images and many more detail in the design and small gestures that bring back a lot of memories. Like the iron tables at the terrace, the large French oak communal tables, lots of concrete walls and wooden details. And old fashioned cocktails in small bottles in your room. The hotel is very #Instagrammable.<\/p>\n

Hotel Les Roches Rouges<\/strong> | Service with a smile and on Stan Smith shoes<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Although we have read a couple of reviews about the service being still \u2018a work in progress\u2019, we experienced it as friendly, swift and personal. Five star service with a relaxed and familiar touch. Welcomed with a drink by the staff who takes care of the paper work while you enjoy the view and sound. Simple, almost old fashioned rooms with lots of whites and blue tiles in the shower. Great bed, small details like small images in the room and the special drinks at your minibar with small bottles of signature Negroni, Brooklyn RR and Old Fashioned RR cocktails. But also a bottle of retro drinks like Pastis and a bottle of Vermouth a L\u2019 Absinthe.<\/p>\n

Outside a seawater pool carved out in the rocks but also a heated pool for those enjoying a serious swim. Also an area for P\u00e9tanque, ping pong, paddle boarding and access to the sea. A bar at the seawater pool and a spa for massages and facials. They also organise Cinema en plein air!<\/p>\n

Nice to notice that the guests are partly Millennials but also a lot of 50 plus folks who enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. The food served has a Proven\u00e7al touch, with lots of tomatoes, garlic, anchovies and dishes like ratatouille, salad Nicoise, pan-bagna etc.<\/p>\n

The breakfast buffet is great with lots of sweets, fruits like berries, yoghurts with all kinds of cereals, pancakes, eggs and off course great French bread.<\/p>\n
