Five zigzagging room slabs expand into a gently sloping exterior path, leading directly to the museum and local ski trails. Swiss watchmaker <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/audemarspiguet\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Audemars Piquet<\/a> invited the famed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/bjarke.ingels.group\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG)<\/a> to create their luxurious ski hotel. BIG also designed the museum. The hotel will include about 50 hotel rooms.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3><strong>The Audemars Piquet Hotel des Horlogers<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The Hotel des Horlogers will be situated in the town of Le Brassus in the scenic Vall\u00e9e de Joux in Switzerland. The design of the building integrates into the hills surrounding the resort. Five zigzagging room slabs expand into a gently sloping exterior path, leading directly to the museum and local ski trails. The future guests of the hotel will be invited to descend on skis towards the trails of the Vall\u00e9e de Joux from their room.<\/p>\n<p>On the interior, a continuous sloping corridor connects the rooms, facilitating visitor and service circulation. The amenities, two restaurants, a bar, a spa and a conference center are tucked under the inclined slabs and oriented towards light and views to become individual destinations along the exterior path. From the main access road, the hotel\u2019s tilting slabs frame views of the surrounding Vall\u00e9e de Joux, establishing a connection between the village and the pastoral landscape.
