While we were checking new sources for pancake inspiration we came across a press release from Sonic Drive In in February 2017 about their returning breakfast item: The pancake on a stick.\u00a0 Perfect for those who love pancakes and sausages. It has been an item at their breakfast menu before and although we can\u2019t find it at their current menu we would love to share this inspiration with our European audience.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Pancake on a stick<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The name says it all, it is a pancake on a stick. Because only a pancake on a stick<\/a> does not work very well, you also get a breakfast sausage. The sausage is wrapped in a warm, fluffy pancake and served on a stick with a side of sweet, maple syrup. Although it is really served as a breakfast dish in America, we as the down-to-earth Dutch will probably skip this in the early morning. Maybe a nice idea for a food truck or in a Dutch pancake restaurant?<\/p>\n
