Pop-up pug caf\u00e9 is coming to London<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n

A temporary pop-up pug caf\u00e9 will open at The Book Club in Shoreditch, London. The Pop Up Pug Caf\u00e9 has already appeared\u00a0in Brighton and Guildford, and now it\u2019s east London\u2019s turn to host these adorable snub-nosed hounds. The idea is to create a space where\u00a0the pups will be treated like royalties.\u00a0Aspiring dog owners are welcome too. It\u2019s \u00a35 entry for those with a pug and \u00a310 for the pugless, with some of the dosh being donated to The French and Pug Dog Foundation.<\/p>\n

Caf\u00e9 in Australia charges 18% \u2018gender tax\u2019 to highlight pay gap<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n

A caf\u00e9 in Melbourne, Australia, is giving its male customers a side of gender equity with their lattes. At Handsome Her, men are asked to pay an 18% premium to “reflect the gender pay gap.” Men earn an average 17.7% more than women for full-time work in Australia, a government report found. Men are not obligated to pay the tax although no one declined paying the 18% yet.<\/p>\n

Fried Fried Chicken Chicken beer<\/a> <\/strong><\/h3>\n

Chicken and beer is a classic combination, but The Veil Brewing Company has taken the idea a step further by combining both into a single product. This week they announced the debut of Fried Fried Chicken Chicken beer, which contains a small amount of real fried chicken. Fried Fried Chicken Chicken is available in limited quantities and retails at $18.50 per four-pack. The beer is also available on draft at the Veil\u2019s Richmond taproom.<\/p>\n

Using molten glass to cook a fish<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n

On the website of Foodbeast we saw this video in which a tarbot was baked using 1150 degrees-hot, molten glass. The hot liquid encases the fish completely, creating a shell that doesn’t allow any of the juices to escape. After 20 minutes the glass cracks and dinner is ready.<\/p>\n

Nobel Rot | A rotting apple as a dish<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Mugaritz, the acclaimed Basque Country restaurant known for its $200+ modernist tasting has added an unlikely new dish to its 2017 menu: a moldy apple. The course is called Noble Rot, and it has made a huge splash on Instagram. By releasing a fungus on the apple and allowing it to mature for a few days, the apple becomes more fresh. Moving hotels are reshaping the megabus industry<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n

Sleeping in a bus doesn\u2019t get any more comfortable than this. A new concept bus dubbed \u2018Cabin\u2019 is preparing to hit the road with an original double-decker design outfitted with up to 24 sleeping pods, a lounge space, restrooms, and Wi-Fi.
