The first year of The Hague Food Festival showcasing chefs and restaurants from the city, alongside food and drink producers from the surrounding region. The festival will be held throughout the whole city with different events.<\/p>\n

Quality and variety<\/h3>\n

Supported by Gemeente Den Haag (the municipality) and the hospitality industry of the city, the festival is a celebration of the quality and variety of food and drink to be found in the city. Whether the freshest seafood from Scheveningen harbour to world-class restaurant creativity, there is so much to choose from for every taste and purse.<\/p>\n

Nine days full of food & drinks<\/h3>\n

During the nine day festival, you are invited to enjoy events across the city including collaborative dinners, food and wine trails, guest international chefs, and the huge free entry weekend food festival in Huijgenspark that will be packed with tasty fun for all ages to enjoy.<\/p>\n

The Hague Food Festival | Events<\/h3>\n

  1. Avenue Culinaire Food & Drink Trail, take a tour of 10 eateries around the streets Bierkade, Groenewegje and Huijgenspark on the Avenue Culinaire Food Tour.<\/li>\n
  2. Curry Leaf Caf\u00e9 pop-up kitchen, chef Kanthi Thamma from the award-winning Curry Leaf Caf\u00e9 in Brighton, UK, takes over the kitchen and bar of the Kompaan brewery for one night only.<\/li>\n
  3. Denneweg Wine Trail: Bouzy<\/a>, De Gouden Ton, Oker and Vertus join forces for an afternoon of fine wines, canap\u00e9s and live music.<\/li>\n
  4. Food Lab, this event sees five of the city\u2019s most iconic chefs randomly matched with local producers to creating a five course menu of highly creative experimental tasting dishes, combining the skills of both chefs and producers.<\/li>\n
  5. Food & Coffee Pairing, Capriole Caf\u00e9<\/a> is hosting an exciting 3-course dinner with coffee pairing exclusively for The Hague Food Festival.<\/li>\n
  6. International Gin Makers Dinner, craft gin meets fine dining at the Gin Makers Dinner at the beautiful \u2018Huis ten Haghe\u2019 townhouse.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
