Now the Frozen Negroni gets a lot of attention on the internet. When are we going to spot them on the Dutch sidewalk terraces?<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Frozen drinks <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Last year we already wrote about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.horecatrends.com\/en\/frose-or-frozen-rose\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fros\u00e9<\/a>, frozen ros\u00e9 with a sweet touch of strawberries and frozen! If you\u2019re thinking of creating Fros\u00e9 check out the different recipes on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/results?search_query=fros%C3%A9+recipe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Youtube<\/a>. Now we\u2019ve read an article about the \u2018frozen Negroni\u2019 at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tastingtable.com\/cook\/recipes\/frozen-negroni-recipe-batchable-cocktail\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tasting Table<\/a>. They even offer a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tastingtable.com\/cook\/recipes\/frozen-negroni-recipe-batchable-cocktail\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">recipe of Shasha Beard<\/a> of the pop-up rooftop bar <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tastingtable.com\/drinks\/national\/frozen-negroni-nyc-san-francisco\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SABBIA at the Birreria of Eataly NYC<\/a>. She creates her frozen Negroni with orange juice, gin, sweet vermouth and ice, garnished with orange twits.<\/p>\n<p>Negroni is becoming more and more popular in Amsterdam, according to the lists of popular cocktails in glossies in the Netherlands. Whereas the Gin &amp; Tonic has become almost at the same level as beer and wine. We even spotted a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.horecatrends.com\/en\/trends-we-spotted-week-19-2017\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">G&amp;T popsicle<\/a> at the Aldi in Britain! For adults only with an alcohol percentage of 4.5% vol. and each 80ml Gin &amp; Tonic Popsicle contains 11% Gin. So there probably are bars where they serve \u2018frozen\u2019 G&amp;T\u2019s as well.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Frozen Negroni <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In 2014 we had the first Bitteria, Mercato Campari cocktail bar in Amsterdam, in this pop-up bar from the brand Campari everything revolved around cocktails that taste bitter. And the Negroni has become even more popular with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.horecatrends.com\/caffe-torino-eerste-pop-up-negroni-bar-belgie\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pop-up Negroni bar, Caff\u00e8 Torino<\/a>, in Antwerp Belgium last spring.<\/p>\n<p>For those travelling to NYC this summer, the frozen Negroni is served at SABBIA (sand in Italian) at the Birreria rooptop at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/EatalyNYCFlatiron\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Eataly NYC Flatiron<\/a>. It\u2019s their pop-up rooftop restaurant inspired by the Italian seaside. They have a menu that celebrates both land and sea, from a bruschetta bar to an oyster boat. They also serve housemade craft beers, regional Italian wines with a dedicated ros\u00e9 menu featuring more than 50 producers.
