Apparently it all started with chef Eric Ripert from restaurant Le Bernardin in New York who posted <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eater.com\/2017\/5\/24\/15686820\/eric-ripert-fidget-spinner#comments\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">a tweet<\/a> with a picture of a fidget spinner with the words \u2018Confiscated\u2019. Like at many schools it seems like the chefs at his kitchen aren\u2019t allowed to \u2018spin\u2019 during work hours. But someone took up the challenge to proof him wrong! Instagram account \u2018sleeping_with_the_chef\u2019 placed the video above with the text: \u2018Don&#8217;t confiscate elevate!\u2019<!--more--><\/p>\n<h3><strong>#foodiespinner<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Yesterday <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCXeHboDXnMuh2Icv6Y7cQOg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Bingus<\/a> uploaded the video above and with their post at Instagram photo essay documenting chef and photographer duo: Bryan + Jennifer Caswell (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/sleeping_with_the_chef\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">sleeping_with_the_chef<\/a>) did challenge chefs. We think it\u2019s a nice gadget and wonder what chefs can do with it. Knowing that Eric Ripert is one of the best chefs in the world (nr. 17 at the list of \u2018The World\u2019s 50 Best Restaurants\u2019), he might pick up the challenge and create a new dish with a fidget spinner.<\/p>\n<p>Chefs, why not following his example and create videos of your try outs at Instagram and don\u2019t forget to use the hashtag #foodiespinner.
