The restaurant menu is completely vegetarian of high quality and a great way to present the food on the plates. Of course we do have some great examples of vegetarian only restaurants in Europe as well, we visited for example Cookies Cream in Berlin. Both restaurants are a great example for those restaurants only serving a &#8216;standard&#8217; alternative, like salads with goat cheese or cheese croquettes, to their vegetarian guests. They have tasted those alternatives to often\u2026. If you don\u2019t want to serve to fancy dishes check out the products of for example The Vegetarian Butcher.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Dirt Candy | \u2018Veg-only food in a modern context\u2019 <\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The original restaurant could seat 18 people, but the concept was a great success, as noted in many good reviews (listed in the Michelin Guide &#8211; Awarded by Gourmet Magazine), so they moved to a new location in January 2015, a 60-seater. Amanda Cohen is the owner and chef of Dirt Candy.<\/p>\n<p>The concept is special because the vegetarian food served in both exclusive vegetarian as in the standard restaurants is frequently sad and uninspired. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/DirtCandyNYC\/?fref=ts\" target=\"_blank\">Dirt Candy<\/a> tackles this differently by serving only good quality vegetarian food with a modern twist. Think of food as: \u2018kale matzoh ball soup with poached egg and okra\u2019 or \u2018mapo eggplant with baby bok choi, baby pea shoots and eggplant sformata\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>They also respond to the debate surrounding the tip. Since the <a href=\"http:\/\/ny.eater.com\/2015\/10\/14\/9517747\/danny-meyer-no-tipping-restaurants\" target=\"_blank\">Danny Meyer initiative in 2015,<\/a> a number of other restaurant owners raised the prices in their restaurants and skipped the tip. Still a national topic in the hospitality industry in America. In Dirt Candy, the prices of the dishes are raised with \u00a020%, no tipping allowed and their staff earns a more decent salary.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Cookies Cream | hidden veg-only restaurant in Berlin<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Another veg-only restaurant, which we really enjoyed having diner is <a href=\"http:\/\/cookiescream.com\" target=\"_blank\">Cookies Cream in Berlin<\/a>. The restaurant can only be reached through the service area of the Westin Grand Hotel. After having rung the bell the staff will let you in (if you have a reservation) and accompany you and your party to a restaurant in an industrial setting. Here they serve tasty vegetarian dishes as at this moment for example: \u2018Dumplings with Parmesan cheese and Alba truffles\u2019 and \u2018Stewed celery with smoked buttermilk\u2019.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>The Vegetarian Butcher | Vegetarian products easy in use<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Take a look at the menu of restaurants like Dirt Candy and Cookies Cream, because the standard dishes that are being served in the hospitality industry, don\u2019t provide much variety for the real vegetarians. If you don\u2019t want to spend a lot of time, you can also look at the products of <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/devegetarischeslager\" target=\"_blank\">The Vegetarian Butcher<\/a><\/span>.
