Pok\u00e9mon GO has been launched in Japan and Australia two weeks ago and is since this weekend also available in the Netherlands. Since there are so many people who are playing the game there are a lot of companies that try to pick up the hype, also in the hospitality industry. For example the Pok\u00e9bal pancake in Aalten, free drinks for those who catch a Pok\u00e9mon, a Pok\u00e9mon GO bus tour, a Pok\u00e9mon GO Festvial and people are even spotting Pok\u00e9mons during the Nijmeegse wandelvierdaagse (a 4 day walkingtour). And most recently we spotted a Pok\u00e9mon GO friendly hotel. See the list with examples!<\/p>\n

1. Pok\u00e9ball pancakes in Aalten<\/h3>\n

The already extensive pancake menu at restaurant \u2019t Noorden in Aalten<\/a> (The Netherlands) added another pancake. The Pokebal pancake exists out of a slice of pineapple in the middle and Nutella as boarder. The kids are able to finish the pancakes with jam on the upper part and icing sugar on the lower halve of the Pokebal. The results are amazing! The picture was a huge success on social media as well. Enjoy your meal!<\/p>\n

2. Free coffee if you catch one!<\/h3>\n

The Postwagen in Tolbert<\/a> (The Netherlands) is a spot where a lot of Pok\u00e9mons like to hide. Within no time guests caught some Pok\u00e9mons in the restaurant. The staff thought it was time to congratulate the trainers! Everybody that catches a Pok\u00e9mon in the restaurant gets a free cup of coffee or tea!<\/p>\n

3. Pok\u00e9mon GO Bus Tour<\/h3>\n

Brookhuis Bus Tours<\/a> organizes a bus tour through Overijsel (region in the Netherlands) for Pok\u00e9mon lovers on Tuesday the 9th of August. For only \u20ac 15,= the tour leads you across Overijsel with a lot of stops to catch Pok\u00e9mons and to drink or eat something! A fun way to hunt for Pok\u00e9mons on hills, water and the woods together!<\/p>\n

4. The 100th Four Days Marches Nijmegen (the walk of the world)<\/h3>\n

At the pub \u2018Van Ouds\u2019 in Nijmegen<\/a> (The Netherlands) Pok\u00e9mon trainers are very welcome as well! During the annual walking tour they try to lure Pok\u00e9mons to their terrace by using the so-called Lure Modules. This way they attract an above average number of Pok\u00e9mon. The Pok\u00e9mon trainers are able to charge their phone on the terrace and the fanatics are able to keep hunting on their Pok\u00e9mon whilst drinking their free first beer.<\/p>\n

5. Pok\u00e9mons GO festival<\/h3>\n

The game is extremely famous so why not make a whole Pok\u00e9mon GO festival<\/a>? On Facebook is it possible for Pok\u00e9mon trainers to sign up for the Festival. Up to 23.000 people already did! So why not organize a real festival! At the bigger and more popular festivals it\u2019s also possible to catch some Pok\u00e9mons, after all \u2018you gotta catch them all!\u2019. For example it\u2019s possible to catch Pok\u00e9mons at Mysteryland<\/a>, more than 2600 signed up for this adventure. 6. The Mantra Group launched Pok\u00e9mon Go friendly hotels<\/h3>\n
