Japies Hof<\/a> is the first Dutch festival which combines a music festival with a unique culinary line-up. On the 2nd of July the first edition takes place on the Jaap Eden Baan situated at the Amsterdam Watergraafsmeer. Nick Mulvey, Indian Askin, Joost van Bellen and host Eric Corton are responsible for the festival\u00b4s music program. Michelin star chefs like Syrco Bakker, Pascal Jalhay and Richard van Oostenbrugge arranging the culinary program in an accessible manner. The unique event is created through the combination of foodies and music fans.<\/p>\nChef\u00b4s Table<\/h3>\n
The festival season is already going on for a while. The food trucks are out of their garages. Japies Hof is not about food trucks but about lifting the culinary level of food. The organizers are creating this level with a unique program, and offer the visitors something special. The Chef\u00b4s Tables offer a limited amount of guests a Michelin star dinner, including wine. The Michelin star dinner will be prepared by Richard van Oostenbrugge (2** Bord\u2019eau) and Micheal Wolf (Wolf Atelier).<\/p>\n
Different kitchens<\/h3>\n
Special stories from chefs will be told through the beautiful dishes at Japies Hof festival. Syrco Bakker (Pure C, Michelin star restaurant by Sergio Herman) will tell his story about working in a Michelin star kitchen, Pascal Jalhay (former 2** chef at Vermeer) will show his guests the molecular kitchen without chemical additives and Sicco Gerlsma tells and serves, with his Javanese wife and chef Esther (tandjong Priok) the secrets of the real Indonesian kitchen.<\/p>\n

Japies Hof festival is suitable for the entire family, with a wide range of music and a wide range of culinary food, you can grab some fries for a couple of euros or eat a Michelin star dinner. For the young visitors there is a special program, with youth performances and a famous comedian.<\/p>\n
