\u201cIs it possible to charge my phone behind the bar?\u201d, a question that almost all employees that work in the hospitality industry know. With the numerous apps that are available now a days, batteries die faster than we would like to. This wireless charger for the hospitality industry could be the answer for this problem!<\/p>\n

Wireless phone and tablet chargers<\/h3>\n

The idea of the wireless charger was conceived by Robert Hoogendam, co-owner of a campsite in the Auvergne in France.<\/a> He explains how he got the idea of making wireless chargers on his crowdfunding page: \u201cOur guests kept asking us if we want to charge their phone behind our bar. No problem, until I realised that I would be held responsible if something happened with their phone or tablet. This got me thinking.\u201d<\/p>\n

Eventually Robert came up with the idea of wireless chargers that will be able to charge four different phones or tablets at the same time. The rechargeable battery in the wireless charger is that big that it takes a long time before the charger is empty and needs to be charged.<\/p>\n

The chargers are not for sale just yet. Robert tries to raise funds at a crowdfunding page<\/a> to get the \u20ac 7.500,= they need. People who are interested in buying a charger, can start donating from \u20ac 25,= and will receive a single charger in June. Of course it\u2019s possible to order more for a lower price.<\/p>\n

Extra service<\/h3>\n

Robert would like to offer an extra service apart from the wireless charging of phones and tablets: \u201cAt the moment I am working on building a website and App for the wireless chargers. Via this App people can check at which hotels, restaurants and bars they have a wireless charger. This could lead to more costumers\u201d.
