Light drinks and small bites are being served in order to wake up the taste buds. The feeling of hungriness must be tightened with a bitter and\/or sweet drink which \u2018opens\u2019 your stomach. This also explains the word \u2018aperitivo\u2019, which is derived from the Latin word \u2018aperire\u2019 which means open up.<\/p>\n<p>Although we don\u2019t have Italian sun and temperatures, the aperitif has become more popular in Western-Europe. The Aperol Spritz has become essential on the Dutch terraces. Galliano responds to this trend and recently launched the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.galliano.com\/agegate?r=%2F\" target=\"_blank\">Galliano L\u2019Aperitivo<\/a> on the market. A bitter-sweet thirst quencher and bright pre-dinner drink for Italian moments on Dutch grounds.<\/p>\n<h3>Galliano L\u2019Aperitivo<\/h3>\n<p>Galliano developed an unique recipe with extracts and infusions of orange, bergamot, mandarin and grapefruit. The result is a sophisticated, bittersweet aperitif called the Galliano L\u2019Aperitivo. So, surprise your guests with a nice aperitif before starting dinner with one of the two so-called \u2018signature drinks\u2019 of L\u2019Aperitivo.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019APERITIVO TONIC<br \/>\n1 part Galliano L\u2019Aperitivo<br \/>\n2 parts tonic water<br \/>\nIce cubes<br \/>\nLime wedge<\/p>\n<p>Fill a large glass of wine with lots of ice cubes. Pour 1 part Galliano L\u2019Apertivo (50ml), and pour 2 parts of tonic water (100ml) into the glass. Stir the drink and then squeeze a lemon wedge. Drop the lime wedge into the glass.<\/p>\n<p>NEGRONI<br \/>\n1 part Galliano L\u2019Aperitivo<br \/>\n1 part vermouth<br \/>\n1 part gin<br \/>\nIce cubes<br \/>\nOrange peel<\/p>\n<p>Fill a whiskey tumbler with ice cubes. Pour 1 part Galliano L\u2019Apertivio (50ml), 1 part vermouth (50ml) and 1 part of gin (50ml) in the glass.
