Herengracht Restaurant and Bar will launch a special boat catering menu this spring. Serving a nice and delicious lunch on the water of the Herengracht (one of the main canals). \u00a0To start the boat-catering-season the Herengracht serves the free \u2018bitterballen\u2019 in collaboration with \u2018Oma Bobs\u2019, to the boats coming by and the visitors of the Herengracht Restaurant and Bar.<\/p>\n
The boat catering season starts with a playful ‘Laugh your pants off’<\/strong><\/p>\n The typical Dutch saying: \u2018Laugh your balls out of your pants\u2019 is freely translated in English as \u00a0\u2018Laugh your pants off\u2019. That\u2019s why The Herengracht Restaurant and Bar is serving \u2018Bitterballen\u2019 (balls) at the \u2018World Laugther Day\u2019.<\/p>\n \u2018World Laughter Day\u2019 was founded in 1998 within the motto: “We do not laugh because we are happy, we are happy because we laugh” and takes place every year.
