He suspected that the icon was an advertisement of Mcdonald\u2019s? And he was right. McDonald\u2019s in the Netherlands lets these icons speak for themselves without adding any text.<\/p>\n<h3>The \u2018No Logo\u2019 strategy<\/h3>\n<p>In 2014 McDonald\u2019s USA started the champagne \u2018No Logo\u2019. This campaign shows that the products of McDonald\u2019s became brands. Above you can see the first original TV-commercial that was made for this campaign. It was directed by agency TBWA Paris. Now McDonald\u2019s in the Netherlands goes an extra mile by changing its products into just Picto\u2019s. This way they show the Dutch audience that even if their products are advertised as Picto\u2019s, they still are recognizable.<\/p>\n<h3>Picto Puzzles based on the Beacon-technology<\/h3>\n<p>Besides the pictures you can find on billboards, advertisements in bus shelters and on posters, you can find them as well at more famous places, like the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam and the subway station \u2018Beurs\u2019 in Rotterdam. By scanning these Picto Puzzles with the McDonald\u2019s app, you receive a notification to play Picto Puzzle.
