S’mores Frappuccino returns to Starbucks in the US this summer

The S’mores Starbucks lineup is making its return this summer. The popular S’mores Frappuccino, first introduced in 2015, is back on the menu alongside two new additions: the S’mores Cold Brew with Marshmallow Cold Foam and the S’mores Chai. According to Starbucks, the beverages are inspired by the nostalgic flavors of s’mores, the classic campfire treat made with toasted marshmallow, chocolate and graham crackers.

’S mores are becoming increasingly popular here too when we have barbecues. Would we in Europe also enjoy the combination of coffee and ’S mores?

From December 14 through Sunday, December 17, Starbucks invited everyone to share how their home’s holiday display brings cheer to their neighborhood. Everyone could submit an image of their very merry home to holidaycheermakers.com and share their story and inspiration for a chance to be selected as one of Starbucks Holiday Cheermakers. Five winners will receive Starbucks Cards for their neighborhood to enjoy.

The contest already closed but we think it’s a great idea to organize a contest like this as local shops! Even in the Netherlands where most Christmas decorations are modest in comparison to some streets in the USA!

We were kind of surprised to read the press release of the opening of the first Starbucks store in Rome. Although we all know that the Italians love their espresso, ristretto and cappuccino, which are often described as the best coffees in the world, we thought there would be more stores already. But they’re going fast now: at the end of May they will also be opening two new stores in Roma Termini Station.

The result is velvety smooth, delicately sweet and lush coffee that uplifts each cup with an extraordinary new flavor and texture. The new beverage platform which launched in Starbucks stores in Italy on Feb. 22, includes: Oleato™ Caffè Latte, Oleato™ Iced Shaken Espresso and Oleato™ Golden Foam™ Cold Brew. Followed by California in the USA this spring and later by Japan, the Middle East and the UK.

This new product by Starbucks made us think of Bulletproof Coffee we spotted a couple of years ago, although this is made with butter and some ‘Brain Octane oil’. We most certainly are going to try the new coffee ritual at Starbucks when we go to Italy this May.
